Yes it is, It contains Bioflavinoids and is a good source of fibre plus you use more calories eating it than you gain from it!

Celery is good for you because it has "negative calories", meaning that when you are chewing it, you are burning off more calories than the celery actually has. But the darker green veggies are (like green beans, spinich, etc.) healthier and contain more nutrients. Since celery is very light, it's okay, you just wouldn't want to eat it instead of darker green vegetables. And actually, celery IS a neg. calorie food (for the person who said it was just a myth) Check the site out.

Yes, it's very good for you. It is NOT a negative calorie food, that doesn't exist. It's just a diet myth. thought you do burn some calories from chewing, it's not as much as u gain.

You can even eat the celery leaves, good and good for you!

Yes celery is very good for you. Shave the strings off of it and stuff it with peanut butter or pimento cheese. It is a very healthy snack.

good for fiber. also a negative calorie food, meaning that you use more calories to chew and digest it than it contains. great for weight loss snacking. also in response to anothers' answer, only the dark green veggies have lots of nutrients, the lighter the color, the less nutritional value it has
