As a vegetarian you eat them? I am confused. Vegetarians do not eat animals from the sea either.
Anyway, I do not have a source for you as shrimp can't speak for themselves, however you must realise any living animal experiences pain.
They are living beings with a nervous system just like you, no animals have the brain size of humans, yet they all feel pain, as you do.

Fish probably can feel pain, but they aren't aware of it in the same way we are because they aren't sentient, or even conscious, beings. They act merely how instinct dictates them to act, there is no understanding there, it doesn't even know it's alive. The fact that it feels pain triggers it to act in a certain way, but that's instinctive, very much like when we touch something hot and draw our hand back immediately. Fish are not conscious, they cannot act in a way that is not usual to them, they can swim, they can jump, they can eat, they can flap around on a river bank, but not much more. Oh, it is quite a complex creature that can act in a very large amount of ways depending on circumstance, but that just shows it has quite a lot of instinct. They have no capacity for thought, and don't even know that they are alive, so therefore it is impossible for them to suffer. That it cannot suffer means that its feeling pain is irrelevant.

Of course, that conclusion rests on that logic dictates that if something doesn't know it's alive, and is not consciously aware of itself or anything around it, then it cannot suffer, as it is not aware of the pain, just acts on it instinctively. Feel free to disagree, but it sounds like quite reasonable logic to me. A computer is very complex, and acts in a myriad of different ways depending on what you do with your mouse or keyboard, or what programmes are running, but in the same way it cannot feel pain neither can a fish.

In the same way, although a shrimp is less complex than a fish, it probably can feel pain, but again they can't suffer, making the pain irrelevant.

Sources disagree as to whether or not shrimp feel pain. It is likely that they do not because of the smallness of their brains and the quickness of their death. Shellfish are basically the insects of the sea. Shrimp are like beetles. If you catch a beetle and drop it in a pot of boiling water, will if feel pain? Not likely. It will die instantly, won't even know what's going on. So, you're probably safe to assume the shrimp did not experience pain. If any, fish experience much worse.

Yes, of course. It does'nt matter the size of the animal but any animal or insect feel the "pain". Most people say "they are dead when I buy them haha"...that is sad that you are saying that just imagine them before and when they are being killed(cows, pigs etc..) how said is that.

I did find out they do not have veins.

When the steel-toed boot of Justice rains on the shrimp parade, their torment is endless.

I'm sure they have pain receptors.they are very simple creatures so in a minute way..but just remember people have to eat...and even Jesus ate fish....just an example if you believe in God.

you must be joking, the brain of a shrimp is way too small for the complex neural pathways necessary for the sensation of pain... where do people hear this stuff....?
