Peanut milk is made from peanuts pretty much the same way soy milk is made from soybeans. It may have some added flavorings, but otherwise it has the taste of peanuts. From a nutritional standpoint, it contains most of the components of peanuts in a diluted form (less the fiber), and it is easily digested.
