Anal, but that's cos there's more likely to be blood involved (yes, it was originally designed as exit only, so no natural lubrication). Vaginal sex is not a "safe" option whatsoever though. Sex spreads HIV...bottom line.

You are at risk to get any STD if body fluids are exchanged- it does not matter if it is anal, vaginal, oral- it does not matter. One is not more at risk than the other.

Anal is the most unsafe --at least in North America.....it seems to be vaginal in Africa and the rest of the world that seems to be the most unsafe.

Rectal tissue is more prone to trauma with penetration, that equals bleeding which increases risk of HIV transmission.
