I will of cos.... Since it is a buffet and at the aloha bungalow, I will deduce the buffet, max very ex one will be like 1 person $30-$38, so for good fren wedding, I will give $68, Not very good fren, I may la, I may give ard $40-60 .... though the number not nice cos even and odd number.. think I will give $58 (number sounds nicer)....

I think an angbao aka cash is always welcomed no matter what style the wedding is. Alternatively you could check with the happy couple and see if they have a gift list? As for the amount, well depends on how close you are to the bride or groom ya?

You can give averagely $50 per person (also depending on the number of ppl with you : spouse, kids, grand aunt etc.)
But if im really tight, what I would do - take a brief walk in, pass the row of buffet lined food, gauge the value and walk right out under a tree and then "edit" the amount and blank out the name. Make sure they cant recollect whose ang bao envelope it is.

angbao.
I wouldn't give more than $80 for 2 person or $50 for 1 person if the dinner's at Aloha Loyang. :)
