I've been using Aldara Cream and it's been about 2 weeks now, but the prescription says to use continuously for 4 weeks. It feels really uncomfortable and painful. I know there are bad side effects. Anyone have similar results?

Yes, I only use it 3 times a week. To be honest, It feels way more comfortable when the cream is on, then when it's not! Thanks so much for your input!

Yes. I used it for about 2 weeks - 2 1/2 weeks and I was SO uncomfortable from the itching and burning feeling that I actually went to the hospital emergency room. They held me in there for a few hours thinking I had a UTI or something. They weren't able to do ANYTHING for me and sent me home about 6 hours later. It was awful!

My doctor told me to just keep using it and that the warts and symptoms would eventually go away. So I used it for 2 weeks, stopped for about a week (this was when I went to the hospital) and then used it for another 2 weeks and they cleared right up!

I know it can be really frustrating and painful! If you need to take like a week off of the medication it won't hurt you. You are only using it 3 times a week right? If you use it anymore than that, it can actually give you 2nd and 3rd degree burns.

No its best. I've had all 3 doses of it now and its simply the identical as every other injection. You would suppose it just a little to your arm and afterwards it will be bruised for an afternoon or so. Its not anything to fear approximately, chiefly if you are ordinarily best with them :) x

yes i had the same problem with that cream. when i was battling my genital warts and it actually made me get a really bad rash. i only used it for the month i was supposed to and once i was done i remanded the surgery.
