The serious and the funny answer??? Heart disease runs pretty much neck and neck between men and women. Women unfortunately seem to report different symptoms for heart problems and report them later. They will for the most part blow off the chest pain more often than men. Basically men are wimps about pain. They tend to discribe it in more concrete terms that an ER doc can pinpoint. Women have slightly bigger heart compared to men!!
If you see a begger by the road observe that he gets more from women as compared to men!
If you do not want to get heart problems give yur heart to someone else. he.she will look after it better! THe heart which loves does not get problems. God made heart to love others not to just pump blood! What i wrote is not written in any book of medicine, but it is written in every religion texts, every prophet says it. When you love, more estrogen is released even in men, a protector of heart, and same thing about oxytocin, endophins etc...all keep heart healthy.
When two women friend walk on the road, see how much distance between them, if two men friends were walking you may need a tape to measure the distance.
In short, become woman like and keep your heart safe!

The most of the men spend a lot of time together with females, don't they? Could that be the reason? To tell you the truth, it is a large question you have asked and the reasons are several depending your heritage, were you are living, how you are living, what you eat and your work and if you are stressed too often.

lots of reasons for it... females are lucky, as they hv estrogen which safeguards them against heart problems (esp coronary heart disease). it keeps cholesterol low.. so till 55 yrs males hv higher incidence of heart dz than females, but rates start to climb after menopause in female n highest at 65 yrs of age.. plus some also say due to increased stress in men, though not relevent in today's world as females are also working hard for their career..

"Males have a heart" that is not protected by estrogens,smoke more,drink more,have less stress tolerating capacity,can not cry out,and have to stay silent.
