Every city on North America I go to, there are Thai food, Japanese, and of course Chinese...even specialty Chinese like Shechuan, Italian, Greek, Mongolian, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Cambodian, etc, but very few Filipino restaurants, even though there are many thousand Filipinos in the area...How come Filipinos dont have more restaurants?

Could it be the food is visually un-appetizing?

Because you don't live in the Bay Area. We have tons of very good ones, even the filipino fast food restaurant Jollibee! :)

I think part of the reason is cultural and part of it has to do with the cuisine itself. Many Filipinos have large families so eating out can get kind of expensive. However, also I think there aren't too many Filipino restaurants because many of their dishes are more or less made to cook in large quantities, like soups & stews, not like Chinese or Japanese where you can relatively cook in small portions (to feed 4 people or less). So, if you are already cooking in large quantities, going out to simply because it's convenient doesn't really make too much sense. Also, Filipinos are very centered on family so when they eat to celebrate (birthday, anniversary, etc...) most of the time they have a large gathering at home and all the women help out and cook at home (versus catering). Of course it's stereotypical to say this, but I think most Filipina women know how to cook or at least feel it's the proper thing to do. Not that other Asian women don't cook, but in other Asian cultures, it's ok to eat out for celebration or convenience whereas most Filipinos might prefer to eat & celebrate at home. So part of the reason might have to do with how they celebrate & their families.

Many of the larger urban cities do have quite a few Filipino restaurants but even when you eat there, you can see mostly that it's large families of 6+ eating whereas you can go to a Thai, Chinese or Japanese place and see many 2 or 3 seater tables.

So, I think the reason might be part cultural and part food-related....

Being "not a virgin" anymore does not make somebody much less of a guy or woman. additionally if i might desire to upload, being chaste does not make a guy or woman greater advantageous the two. admire or to be respected relies upon in the way you notice your self and how you like to be perceived, it quite is earned by using respecting others to boot. With dressing and exhibiting pores and skin...why not? If somebody have the coronary heart to instruct it quite is their top to do it, you may not decide the guy by using the way they gown, in case you sense uncomfortable by any ability, then in simple terms look and save your opinion your self. In my perspective, being judgmental in a manner is a lot worse than being a whore.

if they eat lizards, snakes, cockroaches and mice, does it really matter how nice they really are? would it make you want to eat at one of their restaraunts? your question is more stereotypical. grouping any people into one category 'filipino people' are nice, is a stereotype...
