If you're talking about tomato ketchup only, such as Heinz's, then no there is no meat in it. However, the word ketchup used to refer to all sorts of sauces, some of which were based on fish brine or contained such things as mussels, oysters and anchovies. So, some ketchup did and still do contain some form of animal protein.
