It seems like an epidemic of sorts!! I know this is a very real, very serious condition to many people, but is it being used as a blanket diagnosis for many people?

Why is there suddenly so many Adults and Children with ADHD? Mostly due to bad quality food and the amount of food additives(e numbers, MSG), sweetners (aspartame) and the like.

Research has shown that in schools that have stopped serving chemically pluted food to children, ADHD has reduced dramatically and grades and behaviour have improved.

30 years ago people usually shopped locally and ate locally grown produce and cooked from raw ingredients. Now most food is shrink-wrapped-chemically saturated poison in a plastic box.

There is a direct correlation between the amount of ADHD and other syndromes and the increase in the use of chemical additives in foods.

The multinationals are poisoning us all for profit, and we buy it for the convenience.

The reason is that it provides lots of money for the therapists. They said my nephew has it but he was just like me as a kid. Parents are becoming to lazy, and instead of being a parent and disciplining the child, therapists found a way to convince parents of the ADHD thing and make money off of there laziness.

I think it's a way for the medical industry to make money and a way for parents to keep the children out of their hair by giving them meds.

i think it has something to do with the environmental factors that influence each and every one of us. We are consuming posion in the food we eat, we are not as active as we once were, we are bombarded with energy everyday (noise/pollution/tv/radio/computer/) we cant concentrate anymore there is too much around us.

Well it's because of awareness. But there are probably a lot of psychologists who are using it as a scapegoat.

It's easier for one to blame a "disease" than it is to accept responsibility for ones bad behavior. This is nothing new!
