the only way is for someone the "cosign" for you in other words have a card issued in your name on their account.
the reason is a contract with a minor is non binding so if you did not pay your tab they would not be able to sue or collect.

What do you need with a credit card and you are not even 18. The question is do you work a job. Having a credit is very important and of you don;t plan to keep a very low balance on your cards and pay them on time every month hang it up.

Credit card companies are giving limited credit to 18 years olds to boost their business, but many of these kids don't realize that whatever they charge, a bill will follow within 30 day, and their parents usually wind up having to bail them out. If you do get a credit card, use it wisely. You can amass a hugh debt real quick.

No you are not allowed credit (unless a student loan) under the age of 18. You can have a debit card with your bank.

Don't get one. Debt is primarily created because have no patience and credit card companies rely on people not knowing about finance or forgetting that they owe money when they see money in their accounts. Credit should only be used for the things you can't save up for like a car or house. anything else, wait until you have earned the money to buy it.

the only way you can do it is with your parent on the account. Since you are not 18 you are not allowed to have credit because it's a promise to pay back a loan if you use it and a bank can not hold you responsible if you default on it. However, they can hold your parents responsible which is why you would need them on the account.

Your parents can get a secondary card in your name under their acct. This is the perfect way to start building your own credit, and at eighteen maybe you'll have your own acct. you must pay that bill on time no late fees ever,or you could ruin your parents credit. When you ready for your own, you must have a banking acct, a job and be responsible...GOOD luck
