Is the following photo a radial longitudinal section or a tangential longitudinal section? ( I mean the second photo named "fiberintaper" in the album)

"fiber in taper" ... doesn't sound like coalified wood to me. The others are right, you can't see well enough to make a judgment about either pic

I agree with the first answer. It's too difficult to see. You must have a microscopic picture.
