Yes, God bless you. He created everything. He created good and bad as he created heaven and hell. The wold is full of opposites and this is how we know the meaning of life.

Imagine there were no devils in this world--only angels-- everything will be nice, good and peaceful. But how then would we feel that this is good if we never knew saw the bad?

Take an example: If you stay in a dark room then you lit the lights you feel how good it is to be able to see the world around you and then you will always try to stay in light. But if you always live in light and have never seen darkness before, you don't feel the value of light, right?

And always believe in one thing: God never creates anything that doesn't have a meaning or an aim. It is only that our limited brains cannot fully understand His wisdom in the universe.

Yes, God created everything and everyone. God created the angels and one became jealous and wanted to be God. So God cast him out. That is where satan comes from. God gave people free will to choose between Him and satan. Pain and suffering come from the decisions people make. There is a bigger plan, yes. What is it? Well, ultimately those that choose God will be with Him. Those that choose satan will be with him. God wins, it is already written. What is the exact plan? How will all this play out? I only know what the Bible says, other than that it is a mystery.

Please note that this is an overly simplified version of things.

God created Lucifer... who was an angel. Lucifer turned himself into the devil when he fought against God. It was like a Jekyll and Hide thing but he stayed as the monster once he went that way. Don't be fooled by the ugly pictures people show of the devil.... Lucifer was created the most beautiful angel in heaven and it was his beauty that made him pride-full and it was his pride that made him arrogant to where he actually thought he could take God's throne away from God.

I hope this helps a bit, if not you can always use my email provided.

This question has not a simple answer. To understand we must be open mind to universal information. That is, we must put apart all concepts that religions, chiefly, craved in our mind and heart. I am not judging religions procedure because we are responsible to this too. If we can think freely we, maybe, can get near the answer. The one who best treated this matter is Leibniz(Germain philosopher) in the work Teodicea. There he try to explain that we cannot put the responsibility of existence of evil in God. Very much briefly, God create the best world because He could not do other way. In this best world there were liberty(this word... liberty... has a sense much wider then we can understand with our limited senses.) The liberty permitted to appear what "we" call evil. Our comprehension of the Universe laws is much, very much weak to understand. Notice we, earth inhabitants, are less than this "." divided by a millions compared with the Universe. Sorry, but I cannot put here all details... it require more time and space, but please, go on... questioning is the right way.

God did not create the devil as devil. The Bible says he is a fallen angel. He was one of the angelic beings who rebelled against God's authority and was thrown down from his position to a degraded state. He has been the opposer of God and His purposes ever since.

I think god, angel, devil are all ancient ways to explain the mysteries of universe in a simplified manner. But what we see in real life are pairs; good-bad, light-darkness, happiness-sorrow, life-death. Whether someone created them or not, they come in pairs. Only when we think of God as a caretaker, then we say, why did he create the bad, the ugly, and the harmful ? But there will not be day if there is no night and we will not wake up if we do not go to sleep.

When Almighty God, Jehovah, created the angels, Satan was one of those angels. He only became Satan the Devil when he wrongfully used his [given] free will to seek worship for himself. Worship that only God has the right to. So, yes, God did create Satan as a good angel, but was not responsible for Satan's wicked ways. James 1;13 When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.

There is no devil as a person. That is an idea that came from the time when people worshipped many gods.

God created humans with free will which means that we have the option to choose to follow His way or not. There is only one God. To live in harmony with Him is good, to live in disharmony is what we call 'evil'.

Devil is the challenge to make us truly know ourselves. The devil is doing just as the devil is designed and is submitting to the will of the God by doing so.

The same deity that arranged all of creation, the seen and unseen, would not do anything in vain.
