Tequila slammers. Lime or salt first?

I agree that no pirate would be caught drinking tequila slammers. Since I remove from my record the old time I ever did such a thing, I suggest that if you do something girly like that, do it salt, shot, lime.

Or better yet, drink real tequila or mescal and do it like the mexians: salt-shot-orange or cinnamon-shot-orange.

Or be a real pirate and drink Dark Rum, straight from the bottle.

you know normally I'll put the salts on the lips of the glass and a lime stuck on it..

so when you pop it, the salt come to your mouth first and Tequila and then you take the lemon and squeeze it into your mouth.. ehhh...
