Fried Bread
* bacon
* frozen bread dough
* vegetable oil
The night before:
Lightly oil a large bowl, add the frozen bread dough and cover with a lightly greased peice of plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel. Allow to thaw and rise overnight on the kitchen counter.
In the morning:
Punch down dough and knead lightly just to get the dough smooth. Fry the bacon to your liking, remove from the pan, and use the bacon drippings to fry the bread dough. With a sharp paring knife, cut off a chunk of dough about 2 inches in diameter (more or less) and gently stretch it to about 4 inches diameter. The dough should be in one peice, no holes! Immediately place the stretched dough into the frying pan, over medium heat.
Fry until the bottom is light golden brown, then flip to brown the other side. The dough will puff up as it's cooking. Remove from pan and keep warm in a low oven, or serve immediately.
To eat - this is the best part - push the tines of a fork into the side of the dough (like splitting an english muffin) and pry the top off with a knife. Spread the insides with butter, jam or honey.

Understand the many premises behind The Paleo Diet and that will help guide you toward living a complete Paleo Diet lifestyle. Learn here https://tr.im/paleorecipes
For breakfast, make an easy omelet. Peppers, mushrooms, and broccoli in olive oil; add omega-3-enriched or free-range eggs and diced turkey or chicken breast.
Paleo lunches are easy. At the beginning of the week, make a huge salad with anything you like. A good starting point can be mixed greens, spinach, radishes, bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, avocadoes, walnuts, almonds and sliced apples or pears.
For dinner, try spaghetti squash as a substitute for any pasta recipe. Top with pesto, marinara and meatballs. Roasted beets and their greens make a great side dish for pork.

The traditional fried bread is very simple...
it is a traditional English breakfast.
You need lots of oil, in a frying pan, when it is hot enough put the bread in it (usually in slices) and let it fried (it comes near the surface)until it is golden and crispy, then take it out and try to take out the excess of oil in it.
I usually do the lighter version, using less oil and frying it very quickly in both side!
Or come to England...and tried a good one here!
Good luck!

You can start from scratch and make the dough for homemade bread or you can do like i do and go to the supermarket and buy frozen bread dough. Thaw dough and then cut 1/2 cup pieces and flatten them out somewhat. Drop dough in preheated cooking oil of 350 degrees and cook until brown use a fork to turn over. It takes about 5 to 6 min. depending on size of the dough. It's the same basic idea as making donuts. (make sure your oil is hot enough before you start frying or they won't turn out.)

fried bread Recipe
3 c Sifted all-purpose flour
1 T Butter
2 t Baking powder
3/4 c (to 1c) Warm milk
1 t Salt
2 T Melted butter
1 t Sugar
1 x Fat for deep frying
Combine dry ingredients; cut in butter. Add enough warm milk to make a soft dough, easy to handle. Knead on floured board until dough is very smooth and soft but elastic. Do not use a lot of extra flour.
Divide dough into 6-8 balls and brush the tops with melted butter. Cover and let stand 30-45 minutes. Pat out each ball into a round, 5 or 6 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch thick. Fry in deep fat (preheated to 365 degrees). Dough should rise immediately to surface. Cook until brown on one side, turn, and brown on other side being careful to not pierce crust.
Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
