All in all a not so bad prognosis but still it depends on the type of leukemia.
There are 2 acute and 2 chronical forms.
You should be tested to see which form do you have.

very optimistic, its actually one of the cancers with the biggest curation rate, in kids it can be up to 85% in acute lymphoblastic.. 60% in acute myelogenus.. in adults its around 50% for all types of leukemia. Go to the page of the american cancer society and they will give you accurate numbers.
