Bindi is more of a cultural thing . Even Muslims some times apply Bindis. Especially its common among bengali Muslims too.

Bindi is used as adornment.

That thing similar to Bindi which is used in religious ceremonies is not called Bindi. Its called a Tilak or teeka, and is applied on forehead of both , men and women as blessings.

But even Tilak is not only a religious symbol . Its also use as welcome or goodwill wishes etc. So Often guests are offered tilak along with garlands.

Garlands are also used in puja too. Is wearing a garland against Christianity too?
So I do not see it as problem.

You will burn in hell for it! For the sin of looking damn stupid, as all (?white! :D) Christians do, when they are wearing bindhi and pretending to be something, what they are not... You condemn the religion, but whatever looks pretty or is "cool" in that, is OK. You are a daaaaamn hypocrite!

To the lady above, that, what sounds like a new fashion, is older then the time, when your ancestral didn't know about taking bath, and where living in the cave... Amin

Of course you should wear it if you'd like to. There are millions of Catholics in India, and many of them also wear bindhis. I'd say it was more of a cultural feature than a religious symbol.

Who put this in your mind ?

And now since you are in india ,have you observed how many muslim girls wear this or how many christian women wear mangalsutra.Do you mean they are no more muslim or christian?

religion is to take you closer to god ,not to tell you how to dress or wear something on your forehead.

yes because it is a symbol of a non christian or pagan god and is not acceptable to the christian religion it is a false god and a symbol of idolitry both of which are against the ten commandments but if you wanna get technical it is not acceptable to wear a cross either but that is only according to the bible

Being a Christian is about the relationship you have with Christ. It is not about what you wear or how you dress. It is about learning and living to glorify God. If you feel you aren't glorifying Him by doing this, then stop.
