NO its totally normal,if u think thats abnormal then take a good look at my family pal.
my dad's a Deplomat and is hardly ever home,always around germany,sweden,nd all dat,he doesnt even know my favorite colour.
my mom's a doctor nd is at work till 10 pm
i swear the presitent of iraq sees my dad more than i do
now c wat kind of mess im into?u always have to have an A+ in this house or ur not a real person,nd ull b yelld at 4 the rest of the day wen u get an A instead of A+

Not at all every teenager comes to a place where they feel misunderstood. Especially when they get to the "me,me" stage. Where the whole world revolves around them. Everyone gets there sooner or later. It will pass.....

Nope. I'm Asian-American. My paretns grew up in Vietnam and moved here a while back. I was born here and sometimes they just don't understand. Oh well.

I have one parent who understands me, and one who is completely oblivious. Based on what I have seen IRL and on reality shows, it seems normal.

It's completley normal. And guess what? They understand you a lot more than you think they do.
