Mix vinegar and water together and put in a spray bottle. Spray it on your skin. It really helps.

Ouch!!
I know how painful a sunburn can be. We live on the beach, and see alot of that here. You really have to treat your sunburn for exactly what it is--a bad Burn!!
Soak in cool water to pull the fire out as often as you can stand it, and try putting some Noxzema, aloe vera, or other skin lotion in refrigerator before applying--the colder the better. Aspirin seems to work better than Tylenol. Try sleeping with as little clothing as possible--I've slept in my bikini before due to burn!
Most important of all--watch for blistering as this may require a Dr. visit. Hope you feel better soon!!

elevate your feet on some pillows 2-3 of them-this will help get your legs up off the bed...
apply aloe vera gel to your legs during your awake hours. do not use any ointments, lotions,or oils, or food products-these will actually trap the heat inside the burn that needs to escape in order for it to heal and they can also cause infection. take cool baths or showers-hot or warm water will also trap heat.
you can also take ibuprofen 200-400mg every 6 hours for the pain and swelling. take no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.
to help you sleep-try taking tylenol pm or benadryl-these are non habit forming.

*** Well a couple of weeks ago I learned in my German class that some Germans use yoghurt to ease sunburn pains. " Ich habe einen Sonnenbrand. Was kann ich deiner Meinung nach tun?" (I have sunburn. What do you think should I do?) "An deiner Stelle, würde ich mit Joghurt kühlen." (If I were you, I'd use yoghurt to cool my skin) *** I don't know if this is true or safe so please seek professional advice before you try this at home. :)
