There is a seeking after knowledge of the future that is dispicable to God... I think because it hinders fully living in the here and now and is often linked with witchcraft, which is a way of trying to manipulate people and events... which is God's realm... a realm we don't have the wisdom of God to be involved in. There is the gift of prophesy that a great number of today's christians do not believe in... God says the way to know if the prophesy is true is to see if it happens, He is so practical that way.....I wonder how things will come to pass, He is a faithful God and does love to tell a thing before it happens just to show that He is GOD. I love this part of following Him. He is a powerful and supernatural God but does not always choose to move in the dramatic and supernatural....it's a mystery being made known and that has been made known., after being hidden for many ages.

All of the three major religions have prophets. Prophecies are a foretelling of events. If I were you I would examine the prophecies in each and see which of them did or are coming true. Which one is the most accurate. If it is God then they should all be true. If it is someone making pretty good guesses then many can be true but not all. If it is someone scamming then they are likely saying what the crowd wants to hear and almost none of them will come true. Muslims do not follow the teachings of Moses but the Christians do. Christians are not bound by the laws of Moses but find great blessing in following the spirit of the law. So Jewish prophecies and Christian prophecies are the same up until the coming of Christ who the Jews reject as the Messiah, the promised one. Muslims claim only one prophet, Muhammad but speak of Jesus as a great teacher not the Messiah or the Christ.

I am Jewish. Yes. Not nowadays but in the early 90s that man died. He did not actually tell the future but spoke to people and told them to avoid doing certain things. God spoke through him. He gave advice and blessings. He had many followers and some say that he is the messiah. I don't but he did have a spiritual presence with him. Some of his followers go to the extent to say that he is still "alive". He was called the Rebbe (rabbi). He lived in Crown Heights, New York.

in the beginning, each and everything in existence grew to become into not created by ability of human beings: the universe is one factor. Secondly, there are a number of variations of God and there are better than one holy e book. Now that we are clean on those factors, specific, i've got self assurance that each and everything IS GOD (Pantheism) and the Bible is a gaggle of hogwash, that "godist" religions, for the main area, recommend nicely yet particularly have not had loads of a favorable impression on the human race, that there is not any such place as heaven or hell - those are states of being, not rather "places", and evil needless to say does it exist, so there is not something to disbelieve there.
