Because Christians really don't care what Jesus said, they just want to be happy and vent their anger

This is my favorite question on Answers. Because the translation doesn't carry over very well the point is missed. Every time you choose to avoid one person and hang around another person, you've made a judgment, every time you choose a friend to confide in, you've made a judgment. Judgment is not a bad thing, it is necessary for our survival. The point Jesus was making is not condemn without cause. "For by whatever measure you use to judge so will God use the same measure to judge you."

This verse is one of the most misused verses in the Bible and a great cause for moral equivalence between those who should be condemned and those who are trying to do right. Take the comparison in the press between the terrorists and Israel. The most common opinion on this topic is that they are equally guilty of terrorism, yet the terrorists proudly proclaim their aim to destroy every man woman and child of Israel while Israel proclaims that they just want to live in peace. What is equivalent about this? The world refuses to make a good judgment call on this most important topic, based on the fact that we are not supposed to judge?

Keep reading the scripture. He didn't say don't judge. He said to be careful because you will be held to the same standard with which you judge others.

Anyway, God already made the judgments of what is right and wrong. They are all defined quite clearly in his Word. Read Romans 1. Christians are charged to let people know what God thinks is right and wrong. You are shooting the messenger when you point the finger at Christians.
If you ask me, we are too compassionate and tolerant of people's sins.

I think they behave this way due to the fact that their belief structure helped shape this nation. The most radical seem to believe that the only true Americans believe what they do, and the rest should be converted like they did to the Native Americans and Hawaiians (not as much though).

When have people, especially Christians, obeyed everything Jesus said? You can quote every law in the bible, all of them have been broken by Christians and non-Christians alike. Answer to you question, know one is perfect.

Now, there's an original question. What makes you think Christians are more judgemental than you. Just look at your question. You are a hypocrite.

Exodus 34:

Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee: But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God

Translation: Destroy all other religions.
