no. if there was a god, what purpose would he have to confuse us? the fact of the matter is that there is no god. there never has been. faith is just something that people have because they hope that life isn't totally random and brutal. it's like putting a spiritual and emotional set of water-wings on a person.

He only created everything right. Not religions or faiths. Get this straight, please, GOD NEVER INTENDED CREATION OF ANY RELIGION WHAT SO EVER. People who realised and experienced the presence of God, out of love for manking , tried to formulate some techniques, pratices, etc so that the next person does not have to go through all the hassles to reach that stage. This was made out as a religion, to attribute some sanctity, so that it will not be loosely discussed and debated like any other ever evolving sciences. Now down the history, some half baked and selfish power lovers, put on the garb of religious heads, and exploited innocent believers, followers...
Nothing wrong with religion or following the religious prescriptions. Only, we have to seek a true preacher, master or guide, and they are in minority always !

God did not create the different faiths, man did.

God created NO religion!
God created man, and of one race of the men he created he has been with.
God sent his witness to the world to teach the truth, so men could understand. Some men of the race that God Loved wrote of the witness.

Man made it a religion, and in those religions are many faiths!

GOD didn't create the different faiths, this was done many many years ago by people and their interpretation of the word of GOD.which in many cases has destroyed the real words of the BIBLE by adding or taking away the true words.

Faith is a creation of human beings. God created human beings and we started created faith depending on what we wanted to achieve.

well. God didn't create so many different faiths.
Men created the varieties of faith, including the athiest faith.
He created u i may add too.
God showed man His faith and asked him to follow Him. (by this i refer to the christian faith.
and He is not confused. U may apologise to him for ignorantly referring to him as "confused". He is a loving father not a task master.

assuming its the same god :
god made faiths for different times ... and empowered his prophets with different skills ... for example moses could do powerfull magic because ancient egyptians were very good at magic , jesus could cure and resurrect the dead because that was what people needed to see to believe... mohammed teached quoraan even though he could not read and write and literature was the main interest for arabs that time .
so god renewed religion to suit different times and needs and it was up to his believers to choose , and if you notice each religion is more detailed than the one before it , because that's how life is ... it gets harder and more complicated by time, so god is not trying to confuse us ... he is testing your faith and free will to choose.

assuming they are different gods ... then none of the religions are true and that all of that was taken from ancient egyptian pharoh "ikhnatoun" who worshiped the "sun god" and said that there is only one god , and different cultures copied, modified, and changed the religion to suit its culture...

God did not create evil. God created free will and His creation chose to do evil with their free will. False religion is a creation of evil. Either men wanted to worship a god of their own creation or demons wanted to steal what is rightfully God's. (Worship)
