what is jesus mistake that make some people insult him and making jokes about him? dont they have respect to anyone's integrity? or making good prejudice before it's proven to be bad?

i think making jokes about Jesus Christ
t doesn't make him any less it shows how shallow and stupid people could get sometimes

Only the ignorant do that. The christian churches are the most ignorant about Jesus. The fact that Jesus was an iconoclast of his time, in his religious beliefs has not been highlighted. He has been made into a tragic hero of a Shakespearean tragedy, by the organised churches. He was a person, who laid stress on ethical living rather than mere preaching and hypocritical living. For him, religious life means a life with full of love and compassion. The present day generation does not know Jesus , as an idealist .. a dreamer.

Because They are uneducation on the Bible as a whole and it is too far beyond their comprehensions. Yes I belive it is blashemy to make fun of Jesus. I will not watch SNL when they are on because it just seems wrong. The Bible must not only be read, but STUDIED to understand it. It is an ancient book!!! certainly not addressed to English speakers when it was originally written. In the last days people are supposed to mock religion in general, according to the Bible . Some of the best Jesus jokes come from within the church. They're comfortable with their faith, but also have a sense of humour. Lighten up!

I have never seen so many people putting down God, like there is on Yahoo Answers. I do know that I sure wouldn't want to be in their shoes on Judgement Day!!

It's good that you're offended when someone talks bad about Jesus or God. Really, it is blasphemous. Jesus is holy. So is his name. Shouldn't drag it down at all.

it's mostly cause they're either jus messing around (and the joke has nothing to do with how the feel about the J man.) Or they don't take him seriously (be it cause they're athiest, jerks, or any other random reason)
