Whether she was roman catholic, i am not sure, however he was married, some hadith say this, to a christian and a jew. he did this to show his fellow muslim that they are allowed to marry people from the book (jews, christians, muslims). also that they,muslims, should not force their spouses into islam but to teach them about islam. they are also not allowed to ban their spouses from practicing their religion.

Seems that she has a christian cousin. Infact Mohammed as a business man with many caravans had a lot of friends from many different cultures and religions, pagans also.
Religious problems are related to only small part of the world.
North Ireland-UK, Timor-Malasya, West Middle east, Iraq-Iran (Xiitas vs Sunitas). Everywhere alse are cool, Argelia, Tunisia, Marroc, Yemen, Saudi Arab, Eritreia, South America, Center of Asia ....
Infact, during the begining of the Islam, Christians and Jews worked toghether during many centuries. Coptas Christians rulled many government activities within Egypt, and other countries of north Africa, Spain and MiddleEast under islamic government

No Muhammad was never married to a roman catholic woman.He got married at 25 years old with Siti Hadijah a widow of forty.He got married more than one wife after the first wife Siti Hadijah died.Almost of his wives were old widow who had some orphans whose husbands died in an islamic war.Muslim man ought to married with muslim woman or muslimah.If a muslim man got married with a non muslim woman,their marriage was not valid. It will be treated as adultery and will get a big sin.Non muslim woman according to islamic teaching should convert her religion to islam before she got married with muslim man.

Mohammad had more wives, that he allowed to any follower! (12-13) He broke his own law! He conquered the Roman Empire, which he called pagan, when it was already mainly Christian.
So, he could have Christian wife, or mistress for sure!
He had a Jewish wife, whose husband he killed himself, and was still warm, when he married her! Again braking his own law! The woman was a beauty.
Before the nightmares came to him, he was a good man. He had one wife, was faithful. She could be Christian, because Islam was not there yet:)

FYI...to the one impersonating Jesus Christ. I'd refrain from insulting other people's religion. Assuming you are a Christian, you're using and abusing your Christianity and making it a license to insult Islam.
I don't hate you but I do take offense to your comment about Muhammad marrying camels and other animals. Be thankful I don't insult your Prophet because I was once a Christian before and I still give due respect to it.
I don't hate Christianity but I do dislike Christians like you who profess they are but do the exact opposite.

No.... of course not, all the wives are muslims or non-muslims who (without force) converted to islam before marrying him...not every man can marry 4 wives, there are rules to it. and Mohammad never fucked any camels.....but then, to those who talked rudely bout islam... didnt your parents teach you to respect other religions, just by saying idiotic stuff, makes u as bad as those who u claim are bad. my parents taught to respect every religion and culture, y dont yours? the world would be a better place without people like u

to answer your question ... yes he did marry a christian , and its ok for any muslim to marry a christian and she doesnt have to convert ... but their kids will have to take the father's religion ..

I don't know what religion his wives were, but I do know that they were not Muslim. Before Mohamed, there was no Muslim religion, so they had to have other beliefs.
