What are some of your pet peeves?

I can't stand loud people, they drive me nuts. I work in a call center, and there's this one operator who's super loud. Now, when you work in a call center, you have to speak at a normal or quieter than normal tone, because everyone around you is on the phone and they're trying to hear their callers. I asked this person to PLEASE lower the volume. It didn't do any good, she continued to be loud. I swear, she's like VA-VOOM!!!!!!! And her voice is low, so in my mind I call her Foghorn Leghorn, lol!

Finally, I switched desks with someone and no longer sit anywhere near Foghorn. I'm sane again, thank God, hehe!

Top of the list would most definitely be people who act like they're superior to you. Not necessarily snobs, just people who think they know more and act like it, even though they don't.

Also, parents who don't control their children in public.

My pet peeves are:
1. People who whinge about a situation, but never do anything to improve it
2. People who make jokes at others expense then get defensive if you point it out to them. Just accept that you were being cruel/bitchy!
3. Limp handshakes - yuk!! Can't stand them
4. Parents who are too lazy to look after their children in public places and let them annoy everyone in hearing range.
5. Rude sales/customer services people. You are paid to deal with it!!!
6. People who emigrate to another country for a 'better life', then refuse to integrate with the culture and language. (Then whinge - double whammy!!)
7. People who lie - no explanation needed.
8. People who cheat on their partners - as it says on the box
9. Ignorance - there is just so much, I can't fit it all in!
10. British 'news'papers. Actually there is rarely any news or actual reporting at all. It is celebrity gossip and page 3 girls.

Good for you Dolores!

I have a difficult time with younger parents that allow their children to make all the noise and distractions that they want.

When there is no attending to the child, it appears as if they don't know what to do or don't care. Either way, they are hurting others.

If you weren't ready to raise a child, what was the rush?

If a child is throwing a tantrum or whining, don't share it with us. We have done our time, now do yours.

rude people burping (belching)
passing gas in my presence
drivers on cell phones, also picking their noses
bad drivers who carelessly attempt to operate their vehicle on the same road you are traveling
people standing right on top of you almost literally at the check out line when you are trying to get in your purse or use the debit machine and they are so close they can see all your business
owners of pets who neglect or abandon them
child abusers
people who litter on GOD'S beautiful earth. you know, they make trash cans for this very reason. too bad people are too lazy to make it to the trash can. if they don't respect their land, most certainly they do not respect people or themselves, either.
too many more pet peeves to go into right now.

3.When your waiting for a parking spot and the person you are waiting for is taking their sweet ol' time to get in the car and pull out of the parking space your waiting for.
