If you have had this more than a few days, you need to see your doctor for an exam and formal diagnosis. It could be so many things such as a possible nerve issue, gallbladder disease, etc.

You have a pinched nerve in your neck or upper back, and a chiropractor can help you. You may need to follow up with a muscle relaxer like soma compound or flexoril. The pain you feel is from an anarobic metabolic byproduct called lactose. It will start to leave the muscle cells after the nerve is 'unpinched'. A regular doctor will not be able to help you.

I have had that same problem. After you get past it this time, ride a bicycle. That will help keep it from comming back. The bike was the best thing to help me I have found.

We can only guess at what is wrong. I had similar pain and went to a chiropractor and I had a pinched nerve and He really helped me. You really need to go to a Dr and let them check you out. good luck
