Of course there is a light-blue fruit. It's called Midori. This tropical ecstacy is best consumed in liquid form. It can be used in a number of ways: Midori Cocktail, Midori Manhattan, Midori Sunrise, Midori Sling, Sloe Midori, Midori on the Rocks, Midori with a beer back, Midori Martini, and Midori Lite.
The next time that you're at the Beverley Hills Hotel, ask the concierge to have some Midori delivered to your suite. Place a Tequila Sunrise between two Midori Slings and they will appear to be the most beautiful rainbow that you've ever seen.

Because light blue wouldn't stand out enough for birds and other animals to be adequately attracted to it and therefore eat it. And no animals eating your fruit = your seeds not getting dispersed = the end of the species. Natural selection.
But now I've got a hankering for blueberries! ;o)

There is but it only is out for a couple days a year. It is out when Richard Simmons wears his faded blue spandex suit out to get his mail on the weekenes with Lance Bass in tow.

cos the sky is light-blue (when the sun is out) and nature didn't want other things to compete with that beautiful sight.
