in general, crazy folks save their doping - stabbing - driving while under the influence of various chemicals - time until the weekend. and sometimes other people get in the way of their "celebrations" and also get injured.

Medical personnel hates overtime jobs on weekends. More people go out on weekends exposing them to more risks and danger.

because you get drunks causing all kinds of problems, including drink driving so its not just themselves they put at risk its also others lives. but of course its not just drunks dieing over the weekends, but i guess they add quite a bit to the statistics!
