The "quakers" or society of friends, believe that God exists within every living being. I like that. All I need to do is close my eyes and God is with me.
Religion is for those who are afraid of hell, Spirituality is for those who have lived through it.
It doesn't matter what you believe or why; it only matters that you do.

I sounds like you don't believe in a rigid view from organized religions. Personally I don't think you are far off. Organized religions are pushing an agenda. But is it truth?
I don't think that the worlds religions are all wrong, but they are not all right. There is a bit of truth within, but the challenge is finding the truth through the propaganda.
All I can say is don't give up. In this case the destination (the truth), is less important than the journey (finding the truth).

If you believe in God that's already religion and there is not much difference in believing in spirituality which means not just in the material level. the best investigation I found in Tibetan Buddhistm which is not a 'religion' but more a 'spiritual path' and it is prouved that whith the help of their methods ones get to understand and experience spirituality. uman nature is for sure not perfect we can see how much anger and ignorance cause disasters, so if there are wise guidelines sometimes is very helpful. Methods are not just invented by ordinary people but sometimes by enlightened or intelligent people, of course there is also who take advantage for themselves or it is not so enligtnened, there are many byography amaizing, think to same saints, also Jesus was enlightned he was helping the local circunstances as people was crazy, then religion came
Really explore tibetan culture especially Dzogchen. it is to become free from our material and mental obstacles and live freely untill sufference will extinguish and we will finally discover who is really God. If is no good for ourselves we should think how many people in this world needs help at a mental and spiritual level.

Spirituality arises from the individual. Religions come from groups. When you get groups of people together trying to figure out how to tell people how to live, you have religion. Some people find this comforting and that's fine.
I don't trust others to tell me how I should believe in god. I figure if god is all powerful then I will feel it, and I do. Nobody needs to tell me. I just focus on that and realize that I am at all times infused and simultaneously without god.

I generally stray from labeling myself or perceiving myself as a religious person, particularly because of how most religions are obsessed over being right, or righteousness.
I live in the suburbs of Chicago, in the United States of America. I dunno if it's just around here (speculation tells me it's everywhere), but it seems that those who label themselves as, say Catholic (just as an example), love to preach, but rarely practice. Not to say that ALL Catholics or any believers of any denominations or religions do not practice what is preached.
Spirituality, I tend to like. I'm very young (only 18) right now, so I still have a lot to learn... that is if I am to live a full life... as I was saying though, I like to consider myself a combination of many religions, philosophies, and experiences (whether time spent alone or interacting with others).
Meh. =)

We are all spiritual beings in a human body, take it one step further, we are all Gods learning to be more God like. Being in a human body, here in this 3-D world is a challenge in and of itself.
Some people think that you have to have religion to be spiritual. That isn't true. We came from a place of love and we were spirit. Then we are born into our human body and we are still spirit. When we die our physical body goes away and our spirit goes back to that wonderful place of love.
I know this because I am a medium and have communicated with spirits all my life. They never said Go to church to get spiritual. For the most part their messages are about love and loving.

Many people. People of very high intelligence may be more spiritual or have a feeling they have a higher calling. Many people, too, just feel so connected to a Creator they don't want any middle-men getting in the way.

Yes lots of people feel like that, the numbers who believe in spirituality rather than religion are growing.
A lot of established religions are losing members.
I personally practice spirituality such as reiki or magick, with scepticism and mockery thrown in.

I am in complete agreeance with you. The only one infallible is God. Man (who creates religion) is obviously fallible. Man created the bible, not God. Man created the rules regarding spiritual observance. Man created every religion in the world and look what that has done. We have wars in God's name (I'm pretty sure God doesn't agree with using war as a way to resolve conflicts).
