Why dont you just ask for a Social Security number and Mothers maiden name, and then get his date of birth, make sure of the spelling of his first, middle, and last name and hire a private detective to tail him for a week and report back to you with pictures and details of his life. Then you'll feel safe. Any thing less is not going to satisfy you if you cant trust that you will at least be able to deal with finding out that he's a liar. Most people lie online to feel better about themselves. I bet you lie. Be understanding and stop thinking everyone is a sociopathic rapist.

You have to pay for it at one of these online sites but may need their social and DOB so that may be hard... hmm - good girl though. By the way - be careful and if you meet them meet in a public place and if you have the urge to check this, maybe you shouldn't - listen to your instincts --always.

You can't. Whatever details you may discover may be faked. Try to find profile information or search for his/hers name details on the net. I would recommend keeping a “safe distance” for whatever information you trace. People can always lie about themselves, especially on the internet.

I would just look at his profile and if he has a pic. make sure he's not scary or out of your age category.
