Not so quickly as other kinds of sugar, but too much of anything is too much. The difference with fruit is that it will probably cause diarrhea a lot sooner than too much refined sugar would, so you will be rid of it before you absorb it all. A piece of fruit large enough to be satisfying (an apple, an orange) will have far less calories than a piece of cake or candy large enough to be satisfying.
By the way, intentionally causing diarrhea or vomiting in order to lose weight is a very bad idea; the irritation can cause any number of bowel and stomach problems, and in the case of vomiting, ruin your teeth as well. Learning to eat moderately is always a better way.
Try getting more exercise, too. One way is to get that exercise in remote places out of range of fast food and the like, so that you are not tempted to eat more because of the exercise. So go hiking or camping whenever you can, and bring no more food with you than you actually should have.

Simple sugars can be converted to fat. But sugar from fruits is less likely be a reason to get you fat unlike sugars from pastries, candies and cakes. Although, any food that you ingest in excess is the primary cause of overweight.

all sugar is converted to fat at some point. Fructose is less likely to not be used by the body but all unused sugar will convert to fat. The same as anything else you consume that is not used by the body. Fructose is defiantly better for you than glucose.

Yes. Sugar is sugar is sugar. Fructose. Sucrose. Glucose.... pure, readily available calories....
That said, it is not sugar that makes you fat... it is taking in too many calories of any kind that makes you fat. I lost 70 lbs in 8 months... and had a snickers a day as a treat... of course the rest of my diet was set up to allow it, and I exercised etc...
The biggest source I found , and the easiest source to cut out was from drinks - OJ, protein drinks, soda, green tee -- all of them have ridiculous amounts of sugar - I switched to V8, diet drinks and lite beer (hard for a Guiness drinker)
Yep, for me the biggest change I made was getting rid of excess calories from sugary drinks...

Anything can make you fat if you eat too much of it and don't bother to excercise. However if you are asking if fruit is bad for you then the answer is no, its very healthy.

No. Sugar is classified as good and bad.fruit sugar which is frutose is healthy, is burnt off fast and is healthy for the body.none of it actually clogs your arteries or makes you fat.so go ahead and eat to your hearts content.notice ppl on raw food as in vegetables and fruit are healthy and always slightly underweight.

Not if you only get your sugar from that source. All the other food products with sucrose will make you fat if that's what you eat in your meals. Ignor the fructose... Atkins died of congestive heart failure.
