there is no I-1.There is an I-5 on the west coast that runs north and south. The farther east you go, the north and south interstates goes higher numbers with I-95 running the east coast. The north and south routes are odd numbers, while the east and west routes are even numbers. The farthest south interstate is I-10. The northern most is I-90. I-90 is also the longest running from Boston to Seattle. Yes there is a U.S. Route 1 that runs from Maine to Florida. That 1 in California and where ever they was talking about are seperate state routes, hardly no interstate.

Hwy 1 is on the West Coast from the state of Washington, down to San Diego in California.
