My Brother use to have a crush on cheetarah from thunder cats I always thought that was bizarre...

oh yeah i definetly have had a few crushes. it really isn't all that bizarre if you think about. The character's (usually) resemble human characteristics (like phsyically) and personalities and such. Therefore, it isn't to wierd to think that someone could have a crush on a character. I mean, you have to realize that they don't exist and nothing will ever happen between you and the character (duh) but other than that there isn't really anything wrong with it. Alot of the time when i had a crush on someone it was because of thier personality and such. But you could also like they physically, but yet again they resembles humans so whats wrong with that? just my personal opinion though

I don't know for sure if what I have experienced was a crush...

But I've found some "cartoons" arousing. I guess they're well drawn. I'd say this issue is not too different than anytime we get aroused by the idea of another person, be it a character in print or film, or a photo, or a glimpse of someone across the room. Often what we forget is that fictitious people are just that fiction... we also forget that the public persona of a real person is only what we see on the surface and may well be a lot of fiction there too. How many people get caught up in lusting after their favorite actor or actress thinking they know that person? Perception is always what we initially respond to... I guess a cartoon is just an example of the flimsiest of perceptions.

What really is interesting is how much can we ever really know another human being... and really knowing that person how much do we still desire them? And what is desire anyway, except the need in ourselves for something that person can give us or do for us. Love, crush, lust... it's all about what is within us, what we need, and what we are willing to do to get it.

If I tell someone that what I really want to be attracted to is a persons thoughts and attitudes on life, that that's what can really thrill me and turn me on, that that is what I can really connect to, they probably think I'm some kind of nerd.

I can't remember if I liked any one particular cartoon, but my guy friend used to like Velma from Scooby Doo. He said she reminded him of me. I said "Oh thanx a lot!"

Then again, as a kid I did wear glasses and short hair with bangs, hehe.

Oh, I can remember one right now. It's not a cartoon per se, but an avatar here in Answers. It's not even the avatar, but the answers I see from this one person. Very well put together (he knows his stuff), very respectful, intelligent, and kind. When I see the avatar, I feel the butterflies, lol!

anyway i used to like scarlett from gi joe, april o neil from teenage mutant ninja turtles, ermm..there was this other hot chick from this cartoon from way back but i cant remember the name anymore, and err...blaze from that sega genesis video game streets of rage, popularly known as bare knuckle.

It happened to me, and I just thought it was funny. But it wasn't because the character was "cute", it was because he was so real and masculine! And I'm too embarrassed to say who it was!
