Society does set it's standards, and sometimes they are double standards and can be different in different parts of the country. In relationships involving adults, I say live and let live. What ever makes you happy. Life is way too short to worry about what other people think!!

Standards are not fair always. Rules are there for a purpose though, and sometimes relationships do not conform to the rules.
I would say if you are looking for someone who is very distant from your age, younger OR older, then perhaps your motives should be examined. However, if you MEET someone of a vastly different age and find you truly love one another, then this might be a case when rules could be broken.

Of course it is. That is just the way it's been for so long. But times are changing. Look at the rich old guys. they are making
it more acceptable. But then the girl is said to be a gold digger.
I say fall in love and then find out how old they are.

Sounds like trouble to me. I guess it would depend on age difference and maturity.

Yeah....it's always been that way. I think that once your eighteen it really shouldn't matter. You love who you love, ya know?
