I have a daughter. Her name is Jaelynn, when I named her, I wasn't in tune with the world I guess. I thought it was unique. and not many named that, but after she was born it seemed like I heard the name everywhere. But the reasons behind her name and everything, are very unique.
have you heard the name Jaelynn (also spelled many other ways)
If so, How is it spelled?

I think that as we finally choose a name for our child, we become more attuned to it. We named our daughter Kaelyn, and thought that it was very unique. Since she was born, I feel like I have heard it everywhere.... just spelled differently. At the time I was born, Kendra was unique- I was the only person I knew in school with that name. Since then, it has become much more popular. Names kind of go in phases... first everyone names their children the same, then they all want unique names. I have not heard of any children named Jaelynn around here yet (southern cal)... and I work in preschool so I get to hear all kinds of interesting names.

Jaelynn is now a more common name in girls. I have heard it plenty of times. And in review of my kids' school address book, they're spelled the same way.

My daughter has a very unique name. I've never heard it used by anyone else, and I'm not posting it here - to keep it that way.
