Personally I think they are amazing people and deeply intune with the spiritual pulse of the Earth and humanity's spiritual needs. I want to meet some and be around them.

The true flower of religion(in the sense of what it should be) when and where it exists .. Rhumi, Gibran(Please see other works besides 'The Prophet' before assuming him merely Christian),Ghazali, Al Ghabir ... Mullah Nasrudin tales ... the late great Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan .. the traditions are wide and varied and not just the "whirling dhervishes" we tend to see ... I am glad there are new octaves of interest in this ...

Prohet Muhammad is the first and greatest Sufi of all.
There is a really amazing rock musician artist in my country who is an adherent of this esoteric dicipline and he is a very sexy guy.

I love reading Rumi's works, he was a spiritual giant. I do enjoy watching whirling dervishes. I have somewhere a saved video file of this ceremony, it's beautiful.

guess they r human like us. just labelling urself with religion is not enuf. u should learn to live upto god's xpectations as well.
i am a muslim yet i do not understand y muslims r hell bent on speakin bour caste and creed.
guys wen u dun hav respect 4 each others then people of other faith wont respect us either.

They are mystics and their practise has great effects for those who would like to seek inner peace and love.I,myself is deeply into sufism so I can say that this practise is very divine.

Sufis are Mystics (from Islamic/Muslim tradition).
However some Muslim traditions view Sufis as heretics (and as nonMuslims).

they just think of god and dont want the luxuriuos of world and they live only for consent of god and some of them or maybe all of them wear wool clothes
