I am really trying to grow my hair out long (like a little above my waist), but it's taking forever!!!! (I don't have curly hair either). It's really annoying because I have to trim it every so often to avoid split ends, but I feel like that sets me back. Also, I want layers again, but I don't want to do that until it's long because then i don't want short hair split ends. What do I do!?

I know a lady who has hair as long as what you want, she said that when she showers she messages her scalp with her fingertips in little circles in one direction until it tingles, then she does it in the other direction until it tingles.

Also, if you cut your hair on a I think a new moon, it shows on the calendar, one makes your hair grow faster and the other keeps it from growing so fast. try it with shaving first and see. e-mail me in a couple of days, its just my nickname with the @ etc. Maybe my source will have remembered, you know how it is you do know until your trying to figure it out.

You want to grow your hair long and then have layers again? Why not just have the layers done now. It will add fullness and body to your hair and, no doubt, make it look longer and healthier than it may be now. You hair will continue to grow and then you can keep having the layers trimmed and your hair will get longer and longer and look good at the same time.

I have heard that scented perfumes and sprays help your hair grow faster. Also a shampoo and conditioner called Main and Tail. You can find it in the pets isle in Wal-Mart. It is used for horse hair but works like a charm in our hair. You can get layers now. When your hair starts to grow, just trim your hair and layers to keep you from getting split ends.

Trim it half inch every 2 months. It will grow slower , but will also look much healthier. Also, make sure to not brush it when its wet. Use a good conditioner, like Nexus or Redken!. Use litte of any heat products like irons, or curlers. Don't swim w/ out swim cap

trim your hair once a month during the full moon. I don't know why, but it does help grow your hair faster. Also take folic acid vitimans. You don't have to take a prenatle vitamin for folic acid. All women should take it anyways.

I suppose it depends upon the individual and the way they appear with extraordinary cuts. Personally I'm no longer keen on the quite quick pixie cuts however as opposed to that I bet it quite depends upon who you're what variety of face you could have (oval, rectangular ect.) and your age. I imply a granny casn't pull off a Rhianna coiffure.

Keep trimming it - it will stimulate the hair - also try (if you are a female and your doctor says it's okay) prenatal vitamins - they have folic acid which stimulates nail and hair growth.

don't do anything to damage your hair (straightening, curling, blowdrying) so that you won't damage your hair, and in turn, you won't have to get it trimmed as much. i'm trying to do the same thing! good luck!
