his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of this or your opinions are welcome..

You need new friends, unless of course you talked him in to it, in which case, he needs new friends.

Thank God he had no gun cause in FL we have a 10-20-life law and he would have automatically got 10 yrs just for having the gun on him.

That does seem like a light sentance but his public pretender, I mean defender should (note I said "should") know what he is talking about.

It goes like this: If you do nothing and keep quiet, do everything correctly, they will blame you for not taking initiative and being ignorant.

If you do everything and keep quiet, they will blame you for not doing what they want you to do.

If you do everything and create lots of sound, then they will ask you to shut up and say that you are exposing your ignorance and you shouldnt have opened your mouth in the first palce.

Best course of action: Kick them all out and keep a gun, if anybody opens their mouth you have a right to shoot them then and there. It doesnt matter if they are wrong or right. You are always right.
