My Dad and I have this really close relationship and its weird because your suppose to have this kind of relationship with your mom and my mom and I just don't click like my Dad and I do. Its also really weird because if there was a guy I like, moms are suppose to ask you stuff and if I try to ask my dad he wants there address so he can go kill the person (lol) and well that puts my in a really tough spot. Oh, and believe me I have tryed to talk to me mom and frankly shes just not as cool as my dad!!!!:))

It's cool that you have a close relationship with your dad. It's not unusual at all. Some girls are "daddies girls". Which would explain why your dad wants to "kill" any guys that you might date. Your his little girl.....he knows how guys think, and he wants to protect you. Obviously you and your mom are just different people and she may never be as "cool " about things as your dad is. Maybe there is an Aunt or older cousin that you can confide in. Best of luck!

its not unusual for a daughter to have a closer relationship with her father. Likewise, many sons feel closer to their mothers. This is not the case in all instances - but it does happen quite often. Your mother will be there to explain "those girl things" - but if you have a good relationship with your father - take advantage of it. Good luck.

ik u dont have "click" relationship w/ ur mom but i think u should get advise from both parents and go with the 1 u want 2(c fit).

not many people can talk to their parents and ask them question bout who they like and stuff like that. thats why we have friends. you might feel more comfortable talking to them about stuff like that.
