This may sound stuck-up, but apparently I am quite beautiful. Almost everyday and everywhere I go, people always compliment me on how "hot", "beautiful" or "perfect" I am. I always ignore inappropriate or sleezy comments, but how do I respond to the more polite people (friends, classmates, etc)? I feel rude not having any response but anything else (even just "thank you") feels uncomfortable. And what the hell should I say whenever people ask me if I know how beautiful I am? I assure you I am not obsessed with my looks (i value my intelligence much more) and I am not a ditzy hoochie. This is an awkward topic for me...hence the anonymous question.

Just say "thank you very much, you are very kind." .......as if to say they are over complimenting you. Act modest. Nobody likes a person who seems to think they already know how beautiful they are and couldn't care less about their compliments.

Say, "thank you." And if you fancy the questioner, ask him if he'd ever like to see you dressed to the nines for an elegant dinner out.

A friendly smile and a polite thank-you are all that's needed.

How ironic. That's all I have to say, because I feel that my advice will go unheeded no matter what.

say, "the sailor's walking the panther and the train is at the station", then kick the person in the stomach and yell, "COOKIE MONSTER LOVES COOKIES"
