I need to know why some people have such a hard time saying what's on their mind... My bf and I have fallin into some habits as far as where we go and how we do things. I'm not necessarily a freak for habit so I would prefer to change things, expecially if it means spending less time with him because I don't want to get burned out on him. But he has an aversion to telling me his thoughts and preferences.
Am I intimidating him by not being clingy enough. It could ruin things because I'm tired of guessing and being wrong.

Tell him to talk to you if he wants a good relationship with you.Tell him you're not Nostradamus or Harry Potter to read the future or to do magic because he can't move his tongue. You are his gf and he should talk to you.As for you, you shouldn't worry so much.Maybe sometimes he doesn't talk because he has nothing to say.

This sounds like my boyfriend and I. (Unfortunately we broke up over it, but I wish we could have worked it out.) I think if you tell him you really love being with him, but you would like to experience more new things instead of always going to the same places, that is a nice way to put it. Make sure you have some suggestions ready. Also tell him spending some time apart keeps you guys missing each other, which is healthy for a relationship, and also keeps you from taking each other for granted. I wish I had known how to talk to my guy about it.

First of all please realize you can't change someone. They have to want to change, and their needs to be motivation for change. Men have a harder time sharing their feelings. They are not talkers like we are. Share with your boyfriend how you feel. Let him know if hurts you that he doesn't share his feelings, his hopes, and his dreams. When he does start to open up, don't interupt him or judge him. Let him talk. Don't try to read his mind. You can't , you will always guess wrong. Men are very different than us. They don't play games, they don't give hints or get hints. Things are usually quite literal with them. There is no hidden agenda. When they do talk they say what they mean. We are frustrating to them. Also, remember.....feelings are neither right or wrong...they just are. Good luck.

The best possible solution is talk this one out with your boyfriend. Sit him down in a quiet place and where there is no distractions. Tell how you feel and be honest about it and be sure to mention his weak spots and on how to correct that. Then ask him what he wants to say and be sure to let him no that honesty is the best policy. The key to a successful relationship is communication. If there is no communication, then tell me how can there be a relationship? So, be honest and true to yourself on what you want and be honest to him and lay your cards out on the table and come to a possible solution TOGETHER... Best of luck amigo and I hope that everything will work out for you.
