my mom doesnt know i chat online should i tell her or not i dont know how she will react and my mom feels i'm never to old for a whippin and my mom uses her hand and she is heavy handed so should i tell my mom that i chat online or just keep it a secret

i'm 14 and i'm not the type that will meet a guy somewhere i'm smarter than that but i dont know if my mom believes that i watchthe news and see wat happens to all these kids and some r older than me and still dont understand safety

my mom is not goin to find out cause i dont get on the computer around her she nevers uses the computer and i have a password so she cant get into my name on the computer

Why don't you feel her out first. Ask her if she would mind if you enter a chat site. If she reacts badly, no I wouldn't say anything, and I would stop chatting. If she says sure, show her the site you are interested in, and then you are free and clear. I don't know how old you are, but it is never alright for anyone to put their hands on you. If she is so heavy handed that she gets carried away and causes you pain, you might want to seek out home help. There are counselors at school that could be of help in controlling your mom's temper, and keeping you safe.

First of all you didn't say how old you are. I don't think your mom spanking you is good a thing. It seems a bit of hard punishment for something as innocent as chatting online. In a moment of calmness you can share with your Mom that you chat online. She is bound to have questions. Hopefully you are chatting safely. Never giving personal information out to strangers, realizing just because this hot guy you are chatting with says he's 16, he could be a 40 year old pervert. Be careful. Your Mom loves you and wants you to be safe. It's never good to hide things. Just make sure you are not telling her because you do have something to hide. Whether you tell her and she doesnt approve or dont tell her at all, either way when she catches you...your gonna feel the heavy hand right...so might as well take the chance of not getting your *** whooped. Dont tell her you have been chatting, ask her if you can get on line here and there....then it wont sound like you have been sneaking....Good luck.

There's two contributing factors, age, and the content of your chat. Once she discovers that you are chatting, I'm sure she will not like it, it only because she does not want to see you get hurt, there are a lot of preditors that operate through the internet that target children and teenagers. My best advice is to keep it reasonable, and non sexual.

Well If you are a adult you need to put a stop to it.I think for your safety you have to options . #1 you can keep it a secreat but remember everything in this world people find out sooner or later.#2 how about if something happens to you bad and now one nows .I think you and your mom need to talk and get to now each other .If she is old school introuduser to the new years.talk to her be friends .Plus remember moms always now what is best for there kids. How much time do you spend and how old are you? She should know if you are spending a lot of time on the computer and you're young. No matter what, you should tell her if anyone starts to creep you out or you want to go meet someone in person (which I don't recommend).

why do you need the on-line for chatting ... don't u have friends to keep chattering with....... i guess you are too young for getting into chat and stuff in the net..... its not quite safe 4 u... if u think you will be a toast if you tell your mom then the only way is to quit chatting..... now its in your hand to make the decision..

i dont think you need to be on a computer and chat that badly to risk yourself getting hurt. plus if youre too young... you never know, there could be sicko pedifiles chatting with you. some people are just sick in the head like that. so I suggest you stop

how old r u if u r older than fifteen go ahead and tell her! if she still makes a big deal out of it then tell her that u r old enough to know the difference between good and bad thing/ people. if that doesnt work out play the gult bomb by saying then u obviously dont know me that well!! or u could play it safe and not tell her(but that is if u r under fifteen!!)lol
