A dog should never eat junk food. Human food contains products that could or will harm your friend. Healthy dog snacks are readily available from the supermarket or you could try to make your own. Sorry I don't have recipes on hand but someone out there could help with some.

You shouldn't feed yourself junk food.
Chocolate is poison to dogs. I am sure other things are bad for them as well.
Their system is just not the same as ours.
Once the dog I had got into a Mcdonalds bag, and ate the burger. He was really sick afterwards. It made me wonder if I should be eating that junk.

Can you? Yes. But SHOULD you? NO WAY! Most dogs are very trusting, curious, & food motivated, so they will at least try eating whatever you offer to them. But there are MANY human foods, especially our "junk foods" that can make a dog very ill, poison it, result in bloat, pancreatitis, severe vomiting & diarrhea, seizures, or allergic reactions, & some foods may even kill your pet! SO......please, if you love your dog, stick to a healthy, balanced diet of quality dog food (or a quality homemade diet, which can be explained to you by your vet). Some of our GOOD human foods are also good treats for dogs. My vet recommended that I cut down on "junky" treats for my 4 dogs, & suggested that I try giving them small pieces of apple & baby carrots as occasional treats. Now, my dogs LOVE fruits & veggies! Be sure NOT to feed your dog chocolate or onion, & check with your vet for a complete list of foods that could harm your dog. I have tried making homemade dog treats, which are very simple, & when fed in moderation, are OK for my dogs. One of the simplest homemade treat recipes contains just whole wheat flour, natural peanut butter, rolled oats, & water. Dogs do NOT need all of the sugar, salt, & other additives in the "dog biscuits" sold in the supermarket. They also do NOT need the artificial colors, artificial flavors, etc.. So, stick with a good, healthy dog food & good, healthy treats. That way, your dog will have a good chance at a long, healthy, happy life with you. My older 2 dogs have made it to 13 & 14, at least, & possibly older. I can only guess at their ages, since I found them as strays, & they were already adults. But they are both in decent health for their ages, & at least the ages I stated. I can't say that I NEVER give them ANY junk food, but I CAN say that MOST of their food & treats are healthy for them.

For one, don't feed it from the table. If he behaves then put a little in his dish. Also I have cleaned up splatterings of severe explosive mud butt. Not fun. Not worth it. Stick to the kibbles and bits. The dog won't know the difference and you don't want to start raising a picky dog.

You can...........but you shouldn't. Unhealthy for the dog......some junk food can actually kill an animal quickly. Doesn't happen often, but it does happen. So, if you want to be good to your dog, don't!

No, it's not advisable. It doesn't have the nutrients that dogs require and some things can cause pancreatitis or other illnesses, steer clear if you want to keep your dog healthy.
