I have some old , faded balata golf balls. Will soaking them in bleach restore the whiteness or will...?

it ruin the balata cover, or is there some other method to make them look "new" ?

Bleach may make them look better but they will not go the distance. They are dead.

I think using bleach will dissolve them. Why do you want them to look white? The only way to have a new balata ball is to commission the factory to product one for you.

i would try getting a brush w/hard spikes and then scrubbing it
