Curry - W 34 (KO's 24) TF 40 - W pct 85% - KO pct 60% - wins over M. Starling[2] and M. McCrory - KO'ed by L. Honeygahn, McCallum, Nunn and Norris.
Once his career got started he showed the world that he was overrated.
Leonard - W 36 (KO's 23) TF 40 - W pct 90% - KO pct 58% - wins over Duran[2], Hearns, Benitez and Hagler - KO'ed by Camacho (who has a 40% KO rate [Leonard was over 40 which points out the value of staying retired])
Retired early because of eye (retina) injury.
He made too many come backs.
9th greatest fighter of all-time
Ray Leonard by a KO anywhere between 5 and 10 rds.

If you are talking Donald Curry pre-Lloyd Honeyghan, I still take Leonard but it would be a competitive, with Sugar Ray winning on points or late stoppage. But if it is the Curry who was thoroughly beaten up by Honeyghan, Leonard stops him in 5 or 6.

Leonard. He was a better boxer and even if he had an off night and Curry dominated him, the judges would still give the decision to Sugar Ray.

Leonard by K.O. with the left hook round 7. (Leonard had a beautiful left hook I thought it was his best punch). Remember what Mike McCallum hit Curry with.
