i already know the basics but i want to know things to say to my boyfriend cuz he only speaks Tagalog, like something really nice and sweet but i dont know what. so please help me if you can! thankz

it means:
"i love you....i'm sure about that....you're the only one that i loved like this...you make me happy.....you give color to my world.......my dream is to be with you everday..and no matter what happens i will love you and no one else will love you more than i do"

Maybe it's because we tend to associate the English words we use with its actual English spelling, thus considering it as Taglish instead of Tagalog. Also, Spanish loanwords were present in our language for a very long time that it eventually adapted itself into the language.

But you can start by saying "mahal kita" which means I love you.
Then you can also tell him, "magkaiba man tayo ng pinanggagalingan, hindi yan makakapagpigil sa akin na mahalin ka." (we may come from different worlds, but nothing can stop me from loving you)
