Sitting at the right hand of God is figurative for a place of honor and authority. Those who sat at your right hand were given a position equal to yours.
Jesus has been exalted today and forever more. Amen.

JS Bach sits to the right, and Jesus is on the left. I have enough to worry about! Man, get these seating arrangements down, we have guests arriving in 15 minutes and the Jello molds aren't even hard yet!

Please let us not take this literally. When God said that Jesus sits at the right hand, it means that he has given Jesus the authority over us all. Power and authority has been given to the Son.

But when he found out that it was Jesus who was going to inherit the kingdom of God and not him,he led the rebellion against God.
