you can buy the fresh dill from the supermarket, should be on the fresh herb section around the fresh veggies (is here in the uk anyway). chop it up really small and use 1 tablespoon of fresh dill weed for every teaspoon of dried. tastes a lot better with fresh dill.

Do you have any pickles? You could try the juice from the pickles. Unless of course you are trying to make pickles, then in which case, sorry can't help you. :)
