The highest messenger is Jesus Christ.

He is the clearest and highest revelation of God.

For a brief explanation of the gospel (of salvation through Jesus Christ), see http://www.godsci.org/gs/new/essence.html

Cordially,
John

Because mankind has been evolving and so the revelations needed to be abrogated over time. God has a plan and is all-wise.

The last and final message of God is the Holy Qur'an. It is the only revelation that is a standing miracle and is unchanged and relevant until the end of this Earth.

The last and final messenger is the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). His message, mission and life are an example for all of humanity until the end of this Earth as well.

Not only do people need to be constantly reminded of what is the right thing to do in every age, but also God created people as individuals.

If people all thought alike, then one messenger might be enough but human beings are not uniform. Different groups of people think in different ways. God sends different messengers so that each group will have someone whose message they understand - a path that makes sense to them and their tribe or nation.

If you notice, most religions encourage people to be good, do good deeds and live a virtuous life. They just express it differently in each culture.

I believe it is a Hindu or Yogi belief that "Truth is one, paths are many." Here is a sample website. http://www.integralyogadorset.org/html/One%20Truth.htm

One can also say "God is one, paths are many." There are as many ways to God as there are people, so no one can say God didn't reach out to him.

Here is a site that compares religions http://www.bnaiyer.com/studies/s-title.html

put yourself in Gods position for a sec ... you want to deliver a message to people without outright scaring them out of their free will... so you give them just what they need in the time they need it in. Also there is a great plan and there will be rewards and positions given according to the acts that are carried out by men in this life, and there are certain things that will be accomplished or fulfilled. also ... without knowing exactly what you are reffering to i cant be sure but the overall message of God is the same throughout the entire Bible. Without faith it is impossible to please God and through faith in the covenant between God and man we are put into right standing with God ... in other words God has decreed to abide by the promises and conditions of the covenant , so if we agree to abide by the conditions of His covenant then it is binding and we have an agreement with God for both this life and the one after. This is the repeated message throughout all the books of the bible and everything else shows Gods dealings with man relating to the covenants.

one is never enough where humans are concerned. you see, we always reject what is right and do what is wrong because at that time it seems much better to do wrong. so God sends messengers to put us back on the right path by telling us what we need to do and hear instead of what we want to. he sends at least one to each generation to raise up leaders who can bring about great change for the greater good of the world.

I don't think that one is enough. People easily forget and are prone to commit mistakes. And one account said that people are hardheaded. So God reveals himself all over again to different people in different situations all throughout the history of man.

Don't worry, most of the people who proclaim themselves "messengers" were just frauds.

Especially, Muhammad. He was 40 yrs old, life was going nowhere. One day he declared himself a prophet and then amassed armies and riches and wives.

Read the history about his life, crazy stuff.

As many as 124000 messangers have been sent by GOD for man to be on right path, the Path that GOD have told HIS messengers to follow and teach other people. They were many because they were sent at diff eras and then diff locations, and then people did not follow many of them. So it was to make people to come to the PATH OF GOD. Last PROPHET OF ALLAH (GOD) is HAZRAT MUHAMMAD (S.A.W).
