don't share brushes, or hair tyes. don't come in contact with other peoples hair, if you do wash ur hands and change ur clothes or whatever there hair touched of u, and if you wash ur hair alot you are more prone to get lice than if your hair was like really greasy so its best to wash it like every other day to make sure because the cleaner your hair is the easier it is to move around..... how do i know this because i am like scared of that stuff, its like germs, eww

ders only one way to prevent it: stay away from people who occasionally scratch their hair
Curing it....
Its either soaking your hair in oil by wrapping it up with a towel or use a shampoo that is prescribed by a doctor
p.s. u cn use a comb a comb specially designed for lice....

condition your hair aolt , it will make it hard for the damn things toget ahold, then if its really bothering you get a old fashioned hair dryer and use that, you know the kind with the cap, and if they do attach themselves use oil, olive oil crisco if you havto, rap your hair in a plastic bag and sit in the sun , I had these things and it is no laughing matter - run your clothes in the dryer the little devils cant take the heat ,

contrary to wat others wrote,u actually shouldnt keep ur hair too clean cuz it makes it easier for the little things to move around so u could be like a giant lice magnet.other than that, stay out of dirty places and aviod puttin ur head on the ground/floor wateva....

Add a little tea tree oil to your condition or shampoo and leave it on a few minutes every time you wash your hair, normally.
